Mexico Ministerial Statement for the Promotion of Health: from ideas to action

The Fifth Global Conference on Health Promotion —Bridging the Equity Gap—was held in Mexico City on 5–9 June 2000. The conference differed from the four previous international health promotion conferences in that it included a Ministerial Programme, enabling Ministers and Ministerial Delegations to share experiences and challenges they faced in the promotion of health.
